Online Bidding with Greater Giving
What You Can Expect
This year’s auction will use Greater Giving Online Bidding – allowing for a paperless bidding system. While at the venue, you will bid using your smartphone or tablet on silent auction items. Also, you can easily track Packages by “following” their activity without having to continuously return to a table or bid sheet.
The Live Auction will use bid cards similar to previous years. If you have any questions or concerns, please email pth@hopeseattle.org.
How to Register to Bid (In-Person Guests)
Once you are checked in to the event on Saturday March 8th, you will receive a welcome message with your personal bidding URL. Simply click on the link to start bidding.

How to Bid with Online Bidding
Once you have been invited to join Online Bidding, you have a number of options available to you.
- Select the Package you wish to Bid on.
- Select either the Bid option to bid the next increment, or select Bid More to choose your increment.
- Or, if available, select Buy Now to purchase the Package for the price listed.
- Click the star icon to save the Package to your Favorites.
- To make a donation, click the Donate button on the home page and enter your amount.
- Use the menu in the top left to view Packages you have bid on, favorited, or to browse by Category.
- When the auction closes, the high bidder can find Packages they have won in the Bids area of the menu.
Concierge Service: Bid Assistants
If you feel mobile bidding will prohibit you from being able to participate in this event, please email pth@hopeseattle.org.
A consierge service will be available during the Silent Auction to guests who do not have a mobile device or strongly prefer not to use one. Simply tell the Bid Assistant your bid number, the item you would like to bid on and the amount you would like to bid. They will log your bid on your behalf.
Please note, we will have a limited number of volunteers in this role and they may be assisting multiple guests throughout the evening.
